Welcome to the web site of the Department of Pediatrics of Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Our department is based at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis, close to Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center.

Our department has approximately 90 full-time faculty and another 20 part-time faculty. We have outstanding educational programs for residents and medical students. Twenty-six of our faculty were also recognized in the most recent publication of "Best Doctors in America".

The research interests of the faculty span clinical and basic science and are funded by more than 15 organizations, foundations and grants. These organizations include the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the March of Dimes.
