The 2025 Boeing Distinguished Guest Lecture in International Business is pleased to welcome Emmanuel Koubarakis, the consul general of Greece in Chicago, on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The event is presented by the Boeing Institute of International Business in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, and will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception to follow.

While the event is complimentary, registration is required by Wednesday, Jan. 29.
About the Speaker
Emmanuel Koubarakis serves as the consul general of Greece in Chicago, overseeing diplomatic relations, cultural initiatives, and support for the Greek diaspora in the Midwest. He has held roles in the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the last 19 years. His career spans assignments in international and regional offices including Athens, New York, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he contributed to Greece’s global engagement. He holds a master's degree in European law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

The Boeing Institute of International Business hosted the annual Boeing Distinguished Guest Lecture on Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium at Saint Louis University's Chaifetz School of Business. Szabó facilitated an engaging question and answer session after his lecture, and a reception followed in the Shanahan Atrium.
