I am originally from Chicago and have worked in student development administration, as well as for a Catholic nonprofit in Milwaukee. My favorite retreat house is the Jesuit Retreat Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where I can keep attuned to God's desires through the silence. I live with my cat, Francis (named after St. Francis de Sales), and in my spare time, I love to read, listen to music and cook.

Hello! This is my second year with Campus Ministry at SLU and my office is in Grand Hall. My years in college were where I found myself asking hard questions of the world, my faith, and my education — and thankfully there were safe and supportive campus ministers around me to sit with me through that season. That is what I hope to be for any and every student who wants that same space and support!
Originally from southern California, I went to undergrad at California Lutheran University. I received my Master of Divinity at Duke University and went on to do chaplain work at hospitals in North Carolina and California. Most recently, I have spent the last four years living and working at a church in New York City! I love good music, good food, addicting TV shows, yoga, dance, soccer, gardening and exploring the world around me. I am always available for a cup of coffee and conversation.

I am excited to be with SLU Campus Ministry! As a Jesuit priest with a background in many different jobs and ministries, I hope to be a good companion to all on our shared journeys. I hope we can all grow in wisdom and joy of life. You can find me on the South Campus in the Caroline Building, in the office next to the Chapel of St. Raphael in Schwitalla Hall, and on Thursdays at 12:05 p.m. in the chapel for weekly Celebration of the Eucharist.

I'm happy to be back at SLU as the choir director for SLU's student Mass Choir. You'll most often find me in College Church, conducting in the choir area (or these days at my computer, mixing recordings). I work with a team of incredible people from Campus Ministry and beyond to help students, alumni, and the whole SLU community to minister to each other through music and find spiritual meaning in song. I live with my husband and our two cats, and when I am not doing music things, I enjoy gardening, knitting, hiking and reading.

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be working as the administrative assistant for Campus Ministry. I earned my bachelor's degree in business administration with a fashion merchandising minor most recently. I was employed as an accounting clerk for a steel broker company before I attended SLU.
Being a native of St. Louis, I'm constantly excited to check out the newest eateries and cafes the area has to offer. I enjoy traveling, biking, cooking, dancing, yoga, live music, and spending time with friends and family when I'm not working. I'm so excited for my journey at SLU and to grow with our community.

Happy New Year, Billikens! I look forward to utilizing my 20+ years of experience providing administrative, logistical, and operational support at academic institutions in general, and at SLU in particular, to support the mission and outreach efforts of Campus Ministry. While I am new to Campus Ministry this year, I am not new to SLU — my background has been in academic libraries, including 10+ years in public services and administrative support in Pius Library. My areas of interest include knitting, crochet, podcasts on local dining and the arts, visits to the many wonderful museums that St. Louis has to offer and cozying up on the couch with a good audiobook and my feline friends, Juno and Luna.

I'm overjoyed that this is my tenth year as a SLU campus minister. I'm a native of
St. Louis. My responsibilities as campus minister include overseeing ministry to SLU's
bereaved students; serving as the residence hall campus minister for Griesedieck Complex;
directing retreats; mentoring students; helping with our Journey community group program;
co-leading our student delegation to the annual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice;
overseeing our department's graduate intern program; leading/accompanying a group
of students every spring to visit the L'Arche community in Mobile, Alabama. I also
serve as an advisor to SLU's chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, an international coed collegiate
service organization committed to helping students develop into servant-minded leaders
in their communities.
Prior to SLU, I worked as a hospital chaplain and as a newspaper journalist. I enjoy
mentoring and accompanying college students through life, faith and solidarity. Outside
of work, I enjoy cooking, hiking, spending time with dear friends, exercising, taking
in concerts, road trips, volunteering, and most importantly, quality time with my
beloved family.

Hi! I'm located in Spring Hall. I facilitate our Immersion Program, coordinate our Undergraduate Internship Program, and co-lead our student delegation to the Ignatian Family Teach-In.
Mostly, I want to connect with you! I drink way too much coffee and am always game for good food. I love the city and would be happy to tell you about it. I am married to a wonderful wife and partner, Amy, and we have three kiddos. I have also worked in campus ministry for the University of Cincinnati and Washington University in St. Louis.
As a family, we enjoy hiking, camping, going to all the great city parks and biking. I like cooking, role-playing games and watching college football.

Ordained as a priest in 1994 for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, I have been a faculty member at SLU since 1996 and teach “Theological Foundations” and “American Christianity.” I am also a part-time campus minister at SLU, coordinating the Rite of Christian Initiation program. In addition to my teaching and campus ministry responsibilities, I am the faculty moderator for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and the SLU lacrosse team, and the academic moderator for the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. I am also the associate pastor of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis and the master of ceremonies for the cathedral sanctuary. I am in the final stages of my dissertation focusing on Roman Catholic military chaplains in the Iraq War.

Hello! I am so thrilled to be a part of the Campus Ministry team at my alma mater, SLU! It feels like a full-circle moment to be back home again in St. Louis (though, I am originally from Belleville, Illinois, before you ask me where I went to high school). My background is in theology with an emphasis in theological phenomenology, which I define as the subjective human experience of the divine primarily through a Catholic lens focusing on demonic possession, Mary sightings, mysticism and miracles. My interests span inter-religious and inter-disciplinary studies. In addition to my theological studies, I also have two certifications in the Enneagram, so you will find me coaching 1:1 and teaching various seminars using the Enneagram in various ways. In short, I am an infinitely curious person who is always up for a chat about anything. During my off time, I am pretty low key with my husband, Joey, my stepdaughter, Ayla, my family and friends. That said, though, I love going on spontaneous outings, traveling to learn different cultures firsthand, and relaxing in the biggest clothes I own while watching a movie or TV show with our puppy, Indiana Jones. I'm around, so please feel free to meet with me any time!

I’m delighted to be part of the Campus Ministry team! I’m originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, and spent a year in the Midwest as a Jesuit Volunteer serving at the University of Detroit Mercy. I serve as our liturgy coordinator, so you’ll find me at College Church on Sunday nights and occasionally carrying boxes of candles and/or holy water across campus. In addition to all things liturgy, I work on our Imago Dei LGBTQ+ student retreat, accompany our spring break group to El Paso, Texas, and adventure to the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice. Prior to SLU, I worked with low-income students at Boston College and spent a summer as a hospital chaplain. Around the city, you might run into me at farmer’s markets or attempting to become a regular at author events at independent bookstores.
